The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no‑fee program that assists men & women in completing our rehabilitation program. The organization is grateful for employees’ contributions to the maintenance and effectiveness of the programs.

- Maintain and clean the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist donors in the receipt of donated items and provide receipts.
- Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by the supervisor.
- Separate and sort donated material into the proper containers and stack material as instructed.
- Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
- Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts).
- Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
- Ability to read, write and understand both written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file‑cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, and hand trucks.
- Ability to move product up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Our stores operate seven days a week. Work schedules are determined by management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Full‑time associates can be scheduled for any full‑time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Salvation Army complies with all governmental orders and any contractual obligations related to COVID‑19 safety measures, including mandatory vaccination of staff when required.
