Requirements:
- Customer-facing background required
- Energy and passion required!
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Must obtain a CA DMV Sales License
- High school diploma or GED; an associate degree is a plus
- Proven track record in motor vehicle sales is advantageous
- Professional appearance, friendly manner, positive attitude
- Ability to work toward dealership sales goals while maintaining the client's best interests
Responsibilities:
- Sell new and pre-owned vehicles, meeting volume and customer satisfaction standards
- Coordinate with sales director and used car manager to set sales quotas
- Assist in acquiring and preparing pre-owned vehicles for sale
- Assist with new car sales as needed
- Manage a portfolio of customer leads
- Maintain knowledge of products, features, accessories, and their benefits
- Implement owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business
- Stay updated on automotive technology and terminology
- Perform pre-delivery inspections and road tests
- Input client information and manage CRM
- Greet customers professionally and courteously
- Follow up on leads
- Help arrange lot presentation
- Provide financing options and work with lenders
- Guide customers through signing contracts and paperwork
- Set up and conduct test drives
- Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranties, and paperwork to customers
- Create events during vehicle delivery to foster customer loyalty
- Explain vehicle equity and depreciation
- Conduct courteous telephone transactions
- Know and comply with relevant laws governing auto sales
- Attend training and sales meetings
- Occasionally create social media content
Salary: $48,000 - $120,000/year
