Starting Salary – Master’s Degree: $65,929 - $79,114
GGRC is currently hiring Bilingual Social Workers in our Early Start Division. This is a hybrid flex schedule role that allows you to work in the community, from our Marin County office, and from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities- Conduct needs assessments with families of clients aged 0‑3, develop and coordinate the client’s Family Service Plan.
- Advocate and serve as a service coordinator for clients and families, ensuring receipt of entitled services and achievement of client rights.
- Provide intake services and crisis management as needed, monitoring child developmental status and offering developmental activities.
- Research community resources, initiate referrals, monitor progress, and maintain client records and Title XIX progress notes.
- Coordinate transition from Early Start services to local school districts or other community programs.
- Ensure compliance with program policies, procedures, and relevant California regulations.
- Experience in multicultural settings and/or multilingual capacity.
- Knowledge of identifying and navigating generic services and principles, objectives, and techniques of counseling individuals.
- Knowledge of typical and atypical child development behavior, human growth and development of family relationships.
- Knowledge of state and federal legislation concerning Early Start regulations and services for high‑risk infants and families.
- Good interview skills and team spirit; ability to balance conflicting priorities and focus on key job outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in producing documents in a business manner and conveying complex information clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with MS Office or similar software applications.
- Creativity, problem‑solving skills, organizational skills, time management, crisis management, decision making, empathic and culturally aware.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of social welfare or related human services field;
Master’s Degree preferred. - Case management experience with infants or children under 4 strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish (reading and speaking) and ability to communicate with native Spanish speakers.
