Job Title:
DESKSIDE Support Representative Distributed Client Services

Location:
FOSTER CITY, CA AND SAN RAMON, CA

Duration: 1 Year

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, configure, and install common applications and install/remove desktop PCs and monitors.
  • Perform basic Deskside Services to include install, move, add, changes (IMAC), build, configuration, following provided scripts.
  • Provide software support for low complexity problems/issues on Buyer or Customer personal computers.
  • Assist Customers with problem identification and resolution at the Customer’s place of business for hardware or platform related issues.
  • Provide Deskside Support (software break/fix support or related tasks) on limited complexity problems for platforms having Windows (current – 4 generations of Windows Operating Systems) or Apple (current OS
    -1).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
  • Possess 7+ years of Deskside Break/Fix troubleshooting and solutioning experience in larger corporate environments.
  • Support Microsoft OS including Win7 and some Win
    10 (piloting) and current MAC OS support (corporate environment) including OS troubleshooting, imaging, and builds.
  • Support Mobility Devices (phone and tablet) of multiple platforms including Apple, Android, and Microsoft.
  • Provide application support of standard Microsoft Office products current through Office 365, including support of Outlook/Exchange in a corporate environment across PC, phone, and tablet devices.
  • Provide on-site and remote support of high-level and executive end users through the use of in-person, phone, and Remote Takeover tools.
