Workday HCM Functional Lead
Location:
San Ramon, CA (5 days Onsite)
Role
Summary:
Looking for a Functional Lead to drive the strategy and optimization of Workday HCM suite.
- Functional Strategy:
Act as the lead solution architect for Core HCM, Compensation, and Absence/Time Tracking, ensuring cross-module data integrity. - Governance:
Establish governance policies for business process configuration, security roles, and data auditing. - Release Management:
Lead the analysis and adoption of bi-annual Workday feature releases, coordinating testing and change management. - Reporting Strategy:
Oversee the creation of executive-level dashboards and analytics strategies.
- Certification:
Workday HCM Core Certification is strongly preferred. - Domain Expertise:
Deep configuration knowledge of Core HCM plus 2 additional functional areas (e.g., Advanced Comp, Talent, or Benefits). - Leadership:
Experience leading functional projects and managing stakeholder expectations at the Director/VP level.
