Traffic Control Plan Designer

The Traffic Control Plan Designer will have experience generating traffic control plans. The Designer will develop traffic signal design, traffic analysis, signing and pavement marking designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure, specifications, industry and client standards related to assigned projects.

This is a Hybrid/primarily remote role that requires the ideal candidate to live within San Jose, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, or the Bay Area. Currently requires quarterly in-person meetings but travel requirements are subject to change.

• AutoCAD Design Experience
• 2+ years drafting traffic control plans using AutoCAD
• Basic knowledgeable in MUTCD/CATTCH codes and regulations

• An Associates of Applied Science degree (AAS) in design and drafting technology or a related field
• Experience with California DOT and County design policies and procedures
• Basic understanding of Cal Trans Traffic Control Plans

Benefits & Salary:
This position is an Exempt position, and pays between $55k-90K, annually depending on experience.
