Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) is hiring professional and dependable Unarmed Event Security Officers for events in San Ramon, CA. We are looking for experienced security professionals who are reliable, well-presented, alert, and comfortable working in event environments. This position involves maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere while providing professional and courteous service to guests, staff, and clients.
Responsibilities:- Provide unarmed security coverage for events.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated event areas.
- Assist with access control and guest verification.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
- Assist with crowd management when needed.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Communicate with event staff, supervisors, and other security personnel.
- Complete incident reports when required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card required.
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience required.
- Event, corporate, executive protection, or hospitality security experience is a plus.
- Must be professional, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must have reliable transportation to San Ramon, CA.
- Must meet all applicable employment and security licensing requirements.
Event-based scheduling. Hours and shifts may vary depending on event needs. Candidates should have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
