Primary Responsibilities

• Work with business and product owners to develop new features and improve existing features
• Work with software architects and team leadership to modernize legacy web applications
• Work in agile environment to deliver new features and enhancements on an iterative release schedule
• Daily support and maintenance of web applications for the production division
• Quality assurance documentation and testing to ensure that business expectations and project goals are fully realized
• Creating project artifacts such as requirements documents, design documents and implementation plans
• Working with in-house technology teams to optimize application and database performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and ASP.NET
• Highly proficient in writing frontend code using Java Script
• Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC
• Sound knowledge of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing complex queries and stored procedures
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with working in an agile development environment
• Experience with modernizing legacy web applications
• Experience with Microsoft TFS or similar source code management software
• Outstanding interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels
