Job Title: Developer (multiple positions available)

Work Model: Hybrid Work Model

Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer (multiple positions available) at our San Ramon, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.

Expectations and Tasks:

Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrates a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Works closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Has proficient overall product knowledge and shares domain expertise within team.

Provides application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation. Implementation activities include implementation, testing and integration. Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal. Usually extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-)systems. Removes impediments to the Development Team's progress.

Education and Occupational

Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

Experience:

Experience must include three (3) years involving each of the following:

• HTML, CSS, JSP, JSF, DWR, UI5, and Figma;
• Containerization and orchestration technologies with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Operation systems including Linux, bash, and Apache tomcat server;
• CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, build tools including Maven and Gradle, and artifact management with JFrog Artifactory; and
• Building APIs with OData, REST and Akamai API security.

Experience must involve one (1) year in the following:

• Performance monitoring and testing with Splunk and JMeter, and ITSM management and data analysis using Service Now;
• Building services on SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform); and
• Integrating data with SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud).

Compensation Range Transparency
:
The annual base salary range for this position is $168,991 - $206,460. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role.

The targeted combined range for this position is $168,991 - $229,400. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
