Accounts Receivable - Part Time

Accounts Receivable - Part Time Role Purpose / Mission The Accounts Receivable team ensures timely and accurate management of customer accounts to protect Webco’s financial health and strengthen customer relationships. This role is vital to optimizing cash flow, reducing risk, and maintaining accuracy in all receivables processes while supporting Webco’s commitment to integrity, trust, and teamwork. This position would be an excellent choice for a College Accounting Student.

Hours are flexible around class schedules.

• • Apply collected funds to customer accounts through SAP screens.
• • Make collection calls and send statements to customers.
• • Deposit collected cash into local bank accounts.
• • Collaborate with other departments to reconcile disputed accounts.
• • Monitor, review, and release customers on credit hold in accordance with SAP risk categories.
• • Ensure accuracy of customer accounts and payment performance.
• • Analyze customer accounts to assess risks and maintain/improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction and internal collaboration. Accounting basics Microsoft Office Preferred (Optional):

Education:

Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• • Prolonged periods of sitting and monitoring computer screens.
• • Regular use of telephone, copier, and fax machine.
• • Frequent repetitive motion using keyboard and mouse.
• • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

• • Primarily indoor office environment with controlled temperature and standard air quality.
