Pay Rate: $20.00–$23.00/hour

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to support surface preparation and coating operations for steel components and OGI units in Sand Springs. This role focuses on sandblasting, industrial coatings, and spray application to ensure finished products meet quality standards prior to shipment.

The Industrial Painter will work hands‑on with blasting and painting equipment, follow production schedules, and maintain compliance with coating specifications and safety procedures.

• Sandblast and prepare steel surfaces before and after fabrication
• Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications
• Apply industrial coatings using conventional, airless, and plural spray systems
• Operate blast pots, spray guns, and related painting equipment
• Clean and prep surfaces using air‑powered sandblasting tools
• Measure and verify coating thickness using a mil gauge
• Ensure required surface profiles and finish standards are met
• Disassemble, clean, and maintain blasting and painting equipment
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Maintain production schedules and follow company policies
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant industrial painting or training required
• 3+ years of progressive industrial painting/coatings experience preferred
• Experience with conventional and airless spray guns
• Experience with sandblasting equipment and surface preparation
• Knowledge of industrial paint systems and coating standards
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
