Tool Room Attendant

Requirements: Welding knowledge (specialty welding or worked previously in a weld shop.) Must know what weld wire, grinders, and grinding blades are. Safety Sensitive, Valid DL, Clean BG, Dependable/reliable.
Job Description:
Will manage tool room operations, including issuing and receiving tools and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and order replacement parts when needed. Ensure tools are properly maintained and calibrated. Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures. Monitor tool usage and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. Keep records of tools and equipment, including maintenance and repair records. Coordinate with other departments to ensure tools are available when needed.

Assist in the identification and selection of new tools and equipment.
