John Deere Service Technician

Location:

Sand Springs, OK.

Pay: $20 - $30 / HOUR.

Reports To:

Service Manager.

• Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other brands of equipment supported by Yellowhouse Machinery.
• Rebuild or replace various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.
• Align with safety compliance per company policy.
• Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.
• Participate in a positive and relationship‑building work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.

• Basic computer skills to efficiently utilize service and parts support programs.
• Ability to maintain and create accurate, comprehensive service reports on tasks performed during service or repair.
• Must have general knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, and powertrain components.
• Willingness to participate in company‑paid training as required.
• Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service, and repair work on heavy equipment.
• Must carry out instructions or duties provided by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman to efficiently and effectively service or repair machines.
• Applicant must pass a physical drug screening and possess a driver’s license.
• 5 or more years of experience.
