Pay: £90 £ 100 per day (DOE) Paid weekly

Overview:

Astro Education is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support schools in Cheshire East (Sandbach, Crewe, Holmes Chapel, Nantwich, Alsager, Haslington, Congleton & Macclesfield).

The role involves working one-on-one with students who have SEN (Special Educational Needs), providing tailored support both within and outside of the standard curriculum to meet each student s individual needs, as outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with SEN, particularly those with Autism. You will collaborate closely with the class teacher to support the student but will also be expected to work independently, building a strong and supportive relationship with them.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience or transferable skills

• Experience working with SEN students

• Experience working with students on a 1:1 basis

• Passionate about education and supporting students

• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have a valid visa/overseas police check if relevant)

• Relevant references covering the last two years of employment

• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
