Location: Sandbach
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (Until Christmas 2026 Initially)
Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Primary Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from September 2026
. This is a full-time position through to the Christmas break in the first instance
, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1, creating a positive learning environment and ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Manage classroom behaviour positively in accordance with school policies.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
  • Maintain high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
