Your working hours
- Day shifts: 07:30–20:00 (30‑minute unpaid break)
- Night shifts: 19:30–08:00
The Role
As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will provide the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support, guided by residents Person‑Centred Plans.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing a team of support staff effectively during your shift
- Administering and ordering medication safely, and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting residents with personal care, physical care, and daily tasks
- Conducting ongoing health assessments and observing changes in well‑being
- Ensuring compliance with NMC guidelines and internal procedures
- Prioritising and delegating tasks to meet residents’ needs in a safe, caring environment
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice (level
5) - Understanding of the NMC Code of Conduct and relevant practice standards
- Effective nursing practice across all basic procedures
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on‑call rota as required
