A leading UK insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Account Executive / Account Director to join its established and successful North West team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven commercial insurance professional to develop and grow a portfolio of clients within a supportive, high-performing environment.
The Role
- You will be responsible for generating new business, managing and developing a book of commercial clients, and delivering high-quality, compliant advice across a range of insurance products.
- Prospecting and winning new commercial clients
- Attending client meetings and networking events
- Identifying client needs and negotiating with insurers
- Presenting recommendations and closing sales
- Cross-selling and securing referrals
- Managing your portfolio against targets
- Ensuring full FCA compliance and exceptional customer service
About You
- Experience as an Account Executive or Client Director within an insurance brokerage
- Strong new business and relationship management skills
- Broad commercial insurance knowledge
- Sound understanding of FCA regulation and compliance
- Confident IT skills (Acturis desirable)
- Highly organised, accurate and client-focused
- Cert CII qualifications advantageous
