Responsibilities- Recruit and train the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond in their role by developing their operational and leadership skills.
- Coach your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality and service to keep them coming back.
- Lead your team in driving trade activity, using expertise to grow sales and maximise profit.
- Develop your managers’ knowledge to deliver Store Change Plan and resource‑planned activities, ensuring hours are worked where they benefit customers and identifying and resolving root‑cause issues with sustainable solutions.
- Ensure the safety of your colleagues is a top priority, coaching the team to use all security tools and maintain a safer place to work.
- Excellent communication skills, sharing knowledge, experience and best practices, and working collaboratively with your team to deliver results.
- Natural and welcoming with customers, placing them at the heart of everything you do.
- Energy and resilience to keep momentum going in challenging environments, owning decision‑making and acting quickly for the right outcomes.
- Energy and drive to deliver beyond expectation, consistently delivering the best possible outcomes for customers and colleagues.
- Awareness of competitors and a continual search for new initiatives to improve the store for customers.
