Vertas delivers trusted, integrated facilities management solutions across Great Britain. Our team of 5,000 colleagues provides a comprehensive range of facilities services, including cleaning, catering, property design, recruitment, transport, and environmental management. You'll find us putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, while prioritising our colleagues' health, safety and wellbeing.

Covering the areas of Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Heanor, Ilkeston, and Cotmanhay, this position is offered on a zero-hours contract, working on an ad-hoc basis to support business needs.

You'll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and welcoming, consistently meeting both our expectations and those of our customers.

Please note: You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as travel between sites is required. Applications without this will not be considered.

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Enhanced DBS check is required – if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
