Machine Technician I - 2nd Shift at Litehouse Inc.

Location:

1109 N Ella Ave, Sandpoint, . Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, overtime as needed on Saturday. Starting pay: $19.06/hr. 2nd shift differential: $1.50/hr; 3rd shift differential: $3/hr.

Role:
The Machine Technician I operates a production machine, performs basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, and supports quality and food safety policies.

• Operate and lead key machinery, aiming for efficient output of quality products.
• Set up, operate and adjust machinery.
• Perform changeovers and washes meeting specifications.
• Maintain adherence to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to supervisor.
• Ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.
• Perform basic maintenance/controls, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Mechanically inclined preferred.
• Experience operating one production machine as defined at each plant or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary; scheduled shifts and attendance requirements.
