* * Position Summary**:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role ensures the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, safe, and organized, supporting overall kitchen operations and contributing to a positive dining experience. Must be willing to work as a part of a team to assure an enjoyable working environment, and quality guest experience.

** Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities**:
* Scrape, wash, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand.
* Maintain a clean and orderly dishwashing area, ensuring all cleaned items are properly stored and accessible for kitchen and serving staff.
* Keep floors and surfaces free of spills and debris by sweeping and mopping floors.
* Regularly emptying trash and recycling.
* Assist with general kitchen duties by assisting with basic food prep or receiving deliveries.
* Monitor dishwashing machine for proper temperature and chemical levels, reporting any malfunctions or issues to a supervisor immediately.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
* Be a team player and help both back of house and front of house staff.
