Senior Accountant

Overview

We are hiring new Professional Accountants to join our growing and dynamic accounting team. We are a well-established accounting firm and on the look-out for Professional Accountants to join our rock star team. You will be responsible for managing and growing your own portfolio of accounting clients within our firm.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all financial matters.
• Understanding clients' financial goals and objectives and providing tailored financial solutions and advice.
• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze financial information, including income, expenses, and investments.
• Day-to-day accounting tasks for a portfolio of clients.
• Compile Monthly/Weekly financial reports (management accounts) to your portfolio of clients.
• Ensure your clients are compliant with SARS and CIPC.
• Manage a team of trainee accountant/s.

• BCom Degree in Accounting/Financial Management.
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles.
• Must be registered with a recognized board, being - CIMA, Prof Account SA, and Charted Accountants SA
• Minimum two years post-article experience within a practice.
• Must know Xero Software.
