• Raise and issue customer invoices accurately and timeously.
• Maintain and reconcile the debtors’ ledger to the general ledger.
• Monitor customer account balances and ensure adherence to agreed credit terms.
• Follow up on overdue accounts via statements, emails, and calls.
• Resolve payment delays and escalate long‑outstanding debts when required.
• Liaise with sales to resolve billing issues.
• Prepare age analysis and provide commentary on overdue balances.
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries, pricing discrepancies, and short payments.
• Assist in any other tasks as required from time to time.

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting (preferable)
• Solid understanding of accounts receivable and basic accounting principles.
• Understanding of VAT implications on sales invoices (advantageous).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong reconciliation and problem‑solving ability.
• Professional and firm communication with customers regarding payments.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Sage Evolution experience (advantageous).
• Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently.
