Internal Audit Intern

The intern will work closely with IT Auditors and Senior IT Auditors for training, coaching, and guidance. The role includes assisting with advisory and consulting services, and supporting IT audit reviews in line with the audit plan and internal audit methodology.

• Assist with performing IT internal audits for Sasria departments and/or agent companies
• Provide advisory services, including audit recommendations and participation in Risk Management sessions (RCSAs)
• Identify and evaluate risk areas within the organization
• Assist in reviewing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls using flow charts and other evaluation methods
• Develop audit programs and procedures by identifying risks and controls matrix (RACM)
• Complete working papers according to the IT audit methodology
• Maintain effective client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
• Pursue professional development opportunities, including training and professional association memberships
• Represent internal audit on company project teams and with external assurance providers
• Actively work on improving skills, including negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and relationship building
• Perform any reasonable ad hoc tasks as required by Senior IT Auditors or Internal Audit Manager

• BSc (Computer Science), BCom, or 3-year National Diploma in Internal Audit/Finance or equivalent
• No prior experience required (must demonstrate professionalism and ability to grasp concepts swiftly)
