Auditor

Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a skilled Auditor to join their esteemed audit team in Sandton . This role involves planning and executing financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations. You will work collaboratively with audit managers and client teams to assess financial risks, test internal controls, and provide assurance on financial information.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality audit services within the bustling financial hub of Gauteng .

• Plan and execute financial statement audits in accordance with ISAs and relevant regulations.
• Assess client's internal control systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and control testing.
• Document audit procedures and findings clearly and concisely.
• Communicate audit progress, issues, and recommendations to audit seniors and managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Completion of articles or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA).
• Minimum of 2 years of post-articles experience in external audit.
• Proficiency with auditing software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
