Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our client's accounting team. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Managing and overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Reconciling financial statements and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinating and managing the month-end and year-end close processes
  
  Monitoring and analyzing financial data and providing insights to management
• Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Managing and mentoring junior bookkeeping staff
• Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Participating in financial audits and providing necessary documentation and support

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with full function
• Registered with SAIPA or SAICA
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
