The Billing Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of billing administration activities supporting a key account. The role serves as a key liaison between suppliers, stores, clients, sales teams, and finance departments.
Role and Responsibilities
Have an intermediate to advanced level of experience and understanding in the following areas:
- Capture billing information accurately on Accpac for Schools and Tertiary order books.
- Request required paperwork and supporting documentation from suppliers.
- Submit completed documentation to stores for invoicing.
- Request and follow up on credit note requests.
- Send Proof of Deliveries (PODs) to clients promptly.
- Distribute invoices to clients once processed.
- Assist with quotations as required.
- Assist with client billing queries.
- Assist accounts with supplier billing queries.
- Support process improvements and billing turnaround times..
Grade 12 (Matric).
Relevant Finance, Accounting or Business qualification beneficial.
Preferred Skills- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 5+ years of billing, invoicing or finance administration experience.
