Trade Mark Administrator

Our Trade Mark Prosecution Department has an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, detail driven and proactive Trade Mark Administrator to join the team.

• Maintaining and updating Trade Mark files and records
• Monitoring and actioning diary deadlines
• Attending to prosecution extensions and related administration
• Capturing and updating matters accurately on Patricia
• Following up with clients and attorneys for instructions
• Preparing and providing client updates and correspondence
• Assisting with monthly billing, fees and disbursements
• Providing general administrative support to the TM Prosecution Department

• Matric (grade 12)
• At least 2-3 years' proven experience as a Trade Mark Administrator will be highly advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent English communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple matters
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to take instructions from multiple stakeholders
