Our client is seeking a perceptive and analytical Telecom Business Analyst to join their team in Sandton. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions, analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and defining requirements for new products and services within the telecoms sector. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and excellent communication skills to translate complex business objectives into actionable technical specifications for development teams.
You will play a key role in shaping our client's strategic direction and product roadmap.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for telecom products and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product features and user experiences.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
- Support the development and testing phases, ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of telecom services, products, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques and documentation tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
