Our client is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to drive efficiency and innovation within their operations in Sandton . This role embraces a hybrid work model, allowing for both on-site collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements across various business functions, utilizing methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a change agent, and possesses strong analytical skills to achieve measurable enhancements in productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness, championing a culture of ongoing betterment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Facilitate cross-functional teams in improvement projects and provide coaching on CI tools and techniques.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of improvement initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with management and staff, both in-person and remotely, to ensure successful adoption of new processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement or process excellence role.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
- Effective communication and facilitation skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
