Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Architectural Designer to join their prestigious firm in Sandton . This hybrid role offers the chance to lead design efforts on significant projects, shaping their aesthetic and functional direction. You will collaborate with a talented team, mentor junior designers, and engage with clients to bring visionary architectural concepts to life. The position requires a deep understanding of design theory, excellent visualization skills, and the ability to manage complex design development processes, all within a flexible hybrid working structure that balances in-office collaboration with remote focus in the heart of Gauteng 's business district.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the conceptualization and design development of major architectural projects.
- Provide design direction and mentorship to junior and intermediate designers.
- Develop and present high-quality design proposals and visualizations to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure design excellence, innovation, and adherence to project brief and budget.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, consultants, and construction teams.
- Oversee the integration of sustainable design principles and cutting-edge technologies.
- Registered Architect or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing a history of impactful and innovative architectural designs.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Revit , Rhino, and rendering applications.
- Strong grasp of architectural theory, history, and contemporary design discourse.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Experience working within a hybrid office environment.
