About the Role

This role is pivotal in designing and enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics curricula to meet evolving educational standards and industry needs. You will collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create engaging, effective, and standards-aligned learning materials and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and revise STEM curricula, ensuring alignment with national and international educational standards.
  • Create engaging and effective instructional materials, including lesson plans, activities, assessments, and digital resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and educational technologists to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical soundness.
  • Conduct research on best practices in STEM education and emerging trends to inform curriculum development.
  • Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Provide professional development and support to educators on implementing the developed STEM curricula.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a relevant STEM field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in curriculum development, with a specific focus on STEM education at various levels.
  • Proven expertise in instructional design, learning theories, and curriculum mapping.
  • Strong understanding of current STEM educational methodologies, technologies, and pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in developing both print and digital educational resources in Sandton .
