Montessori Teacher - Preschool​/Kindergarten

Our client is seeking a certified and passionate Montessori Teacher for their preschool and kindergarten program in Sandton . This role involves guiding children through the Montessori curriculum, fostering independence, curiosity, and a love for learning in a prepared environment. You will observe children's individual development, present Montessori materials, and maintain a harmonious classroom where self-directed learning can flourish. • Prepare and maintain the Montessori classroom environment, ensuring it is orderly, beautiful, and stimulating.
• Present Montessori materials to individual children and small groups, guiding them through lessons.
• Observe children closely to understand their developmental needs and interests, documenting progress.
• Facilitate self-directed learning, fostering independence, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
• Guide children in developing grace and courtesy, promoting respectful interaction and community.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and the Montessori approach.

• AMI or MACTE accredited Montessori Teacher certification for the relevant age group (e.g., 3-6 years).
• Previous experience as a Montessori Teacher in a preschool or kindergarten setting.
