Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Are you a PrEng or experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to lead on a major African mining project?

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join a huge Project, a large-scale greenfield development currently in the execution phase. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (with the potential for extension) where you will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle—from engineering and procurement through to commissioning and operational readiness.

Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg (with site travel to Zimbabwe).

Scope: Lead mechanical discipline governance, manage complex equipment installation, and oversee commissioning (C1-C5) on-site.

• 12-15 Years experience in Mining, EPCM, and Mineral Processing
  .
• Proven expertise in Crushers, Slurry Pumps, Conveyors, and Piping
  .
• Strong track record in vendor management and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• ECSA Pr Eng registration is highly advantageous.
