About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in the Automotive sector to join their team in Sandton. Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of automotive mechanical systems, including powertrain, chassis, or thermal management components.
- Manage and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and schedule management for automotive engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design and development.

- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and simulation software relevant to the automotive industry.
