Civil Engineer - Site Development and Landscaping

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Civil Engineer specializing in site development and landscaping to join their team in Sandton. This role is integral to preparing land for construction, managing earthworks, drainage, and integrating aesthetic landscaping elements into urban and commercial projects. You will work closely with urban planners, architects, and construction crews to transform raw land into functional and visually appealing developments across the Gauteng region.

• Design and manage site grading, earthworks, and stormwater management systems for development projects.
• Develop plans for utility infrastructure, including water, sewer, and electrical connections.

• Oversee on-site construction activities related to site preparation and utility installation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and local zoning ordinances for site development.

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in site development, land planning, and related civil engineering aspects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software for site layouts.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage design, and utility coordination.
• Experience with landscaping integration and environmental considerations in design.
