Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Planning

Our client is looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure planning initiatives from their Sandton office. This role is pivotal in shaping the long-term development of urban and regional infrastructure across Gauteng . You will be responsible for feasibility studies, master planning, and the strategic coordination of major civil engineering projects. This hybrid position allows for effective collaboration within the team and flexibility in work arrangements.

• Conduct feasibility studies and develop master plans for large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical input for strategic planning and policy development related to infrastructure.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, and internal teams.
• Assess infrastructure needs and identify potential solutions for urban and regional development.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for infrastructure planning projects.
  
  Mentor and guide junior engineers involved in planning and assessment tasks.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.
• Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure planning, project assessment, and strategy development.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is highly desirable.
• Expertise in GIS, spatial analysis, and infrastructure modeling software.
• Strong understanding of urban development trends, environmental considerations, and regulatory frameworks in South Africa.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
