Senior Electrical Design Engineer; Industrial Automation

• Design and engineer complex electrical control systems for industrial automation projects, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA integration.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software.
• Specify and select electrical components, including PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and network hardware.
• Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and develop HMI/SCADA interfaces.
• Conduct system architecture design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the testing, commissioning, and validation of automation systems, providing on-site and remote support.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC 61131-3) and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and automation issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation and electrical engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical design engineering with a strong focus on industrial automation.
• Proven expertise in PLC programming (multiple platforms) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo systems, and industrial robotics is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electrical CAD software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
