About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Sports Event Coordinator to manage the planning and execution of various sporting events. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote administrative tasks with on-site event oversight. You will be involved in all stages of event management, from initial concept development and budgeting to logistics, vendor coordination, and on-day execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail to ensure successful event outcomes.

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of sports events, including scheduling, venue selection, and permits.
• Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to secure resources and support.
• Coordinate event logistics, including equipment, staffing, and catering.
• Oversee on-site event operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution.
• Manage post-event evaluations, including financial reconciliation and feedback collection.

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the sports sector.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
