About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-driven and experienced Financial Manager to oversee financial operations and strategic planning from their Sandton office. Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS), and tax laws.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and oversee banking relationships.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA is essential.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting frameworks (IFRS), corporate finance, and investment analysis.
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience managing teams.
