A reputable medical practice is seeking an experienced and highly organised Medical Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice. The successful candidate will ensure smooth administrative, financial, and operational functioning, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and patient confidentiality. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing sensitive information, coordinating staff processes, and supporting high-quality patient care.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sandton, Gauteng.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client and staff payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Oversee billing, invoicing, and financial reporting processes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain and manage patient information systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ensure all administrative and operational procedures adhere to healthcare standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate and support staff, including scheduling, training, and workflow management.
  • Assist in policy development and compliance monitoring within the practice.
  • Support financial planning, reporting, and expense management for the practice.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative and operational projects as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in medical or healthcare practice management is essential.
  • Proven expertise in payroll administration, medical billing, and patient data management.
  • Familiarity with medical practice management software and patient information systems.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement efficient operational processes.
