A vacancy has become available for a Registered Nurse at Life Health Solutions Clinic, 40 hours a week. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide quality Primary Healthcare Services to prevent ill health and promote good health and well-being, keep up-to-date with innovate methods and practices to deliver exceptional primary care services to meet the needs of the client. The candidate will report direct to the Business Manager.

To provide quality Primary Healthcare Services to prevent ill-health and promote good health and well-being amongst employees.To act as an autonomous practitioner working independently and in conjunction with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of employees.Provide expert professional advice to employees and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence.Keep up to date with innovate methods and practices to deliver exceptional primary care services to meet the needs of the client.Maintenance, calibration and control of clinic equipment.Keep update with legal medical requirementsAdhere to the Client’s Scope of ServicesKeeping of records in accordance with legislationCollection and submission of statistical dateUnderstanding of the client’s Audit requirements would be advantageousEnsure all filing is up date and is done accurately, confidentially of employee information may not be compromisedMeeting of administrative and reporting requirements and deadlinesParticipation in Life Health Solution’s Quality programEnsure the archiving of employee files is to date and done accuratelyIdentify training needs of first aiders and participate in Life Health Solution’s training programsProviding information, the Client can utilize to eliminate, control and minimize health risks and hazards to which the employees are, or may be exposed.Coordination of emergency proceduresArrange the placement of locum staff when clinic staff are absent or request leaveCompiling of rosters, to be in line with the daily and weekly clinic rostersWorking effectively within a budget and ensuring smooth administration of all aspects of the servicesMeeting the prescribed professional and quality standards of both Life Health Solutions and the Clients.Ensuring the total satisfaction of our clients through continuous improvement and added valueEnsuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards including internal and external audits (Life Health Solutions as well as client audits)Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
Diploma/Degree in General NursingCertificate in DispensingDiploma/Degree in Primary Health/Community Health Nursing.Registration with SANCPerform all duties within the Scope of Practise of a Registered Nursing PractitionerComputer literacy essentialIdeally, the candidate should have experience in administration and employee relations, good communication skillsCandidates who are results orientated, have initiative and the ability to deliver quality outputs will be most suitable for this position.Customer orientation, focus and teamwork complete the profile.Competencies
