Network Engineer - Intermediate

As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining the network infrastructure. You will help to ensure that the office is running smoothly by resolving any issues that arise on the network or server. You may also assist with other IT-related tasks as required, such as software installation and configuration, website maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware (such as routers).

In this role, you'll need to have an understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, switches and router configurations.

Requirements

• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting IPv4, IPv6 and multicast routing protocols and addressing Performs technical tasks related to the design, implementation, and maintenance of networking solutions
• Sets up, monitors, and maintains IT networks for a variety of systems.
• Identifies and resolves technical issues related to network operations and physical security.
• Translates business requirements into high-level network architectures and network designs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an engineer, network administrator, network security specialist, or systems administrator.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required
• Experience with switching/routing technologies a plus.
