Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Master to manage, maintain, and optimize our suite of brand websites. This role is vital to ensuring our digital platforms are fast, secure, visually engaging, and aligned with our business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong command of web development technologies, a user-first mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, e-commerce, and design, to ensure all digital experiences support our customer engagement and business growth strategies.

• Oversee the daily operations and overall performance of company websites
• Implement regular website updates, enhancements, and new features
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and optimized across all devices
• Monitor website analytics and KPIs, identifying areas for performance improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve website errors
• Manage content updates in collaboration with marketing and design teams
• Maintain CMS platforms such as Adobe Ecommerce Platform, Akeneo and Clickup
• Ensure compliance with SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings
• Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve UX, accessibility, and SEO issues
• Manage domain registration, website hosting, and security certificates (SSL)
• Ensure data privacy compliance (e.g. POPIA, GDPR) and implement cybersecurity best practices
• Stay informed on emerging web technologies, trends, and tools relevant to retail and e-commerce

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in website management and web development
• Experience working with CMS platforms like Adobe Ecommerce Platform, Akeneo and Clickup
• Strong knowledge of SEO principles

• Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and responsive design
• Experience managing web hosting, DNS, and domain configurations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects independently
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
