Data Scientist

We’re looking for a hands‑on Data Scientist who loves solving real problems with data. This role goes beyond building models - you’ll partner closely with stakeholders, explore complex questions, and turn data into meaningful, real‑world impact.

• Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models using SAS, Python, and SQL
• Design and develop AI‑driven solutions to address complex business challenges
• Own the end‑to‑end data lifecycle — sourcing data, cleaning and preparing it, exploring patterns, and performing ad‑hoc analysis
• Tackle ambiguous, unstructured problems and create clear, logical approaches to solving them
• Communicate insights clearly through visualisations, dashboards, and storytelling
• Work within modern analytics platforms, including AWS and SAS Viya, to deliver production‑ready solutions

• Strong, practical experience with Python, SQL & ideally SAS
• Proven experience building and deploying machine learning or statistical models
• Solid data preparation and data‑wrangling skills
• Experience working in cloud environments (e.g. AWS)
• Familiarity with large‑scale analytics platforms such as SAS Viya
• Experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. SAS Visual Analytics) to communicate insights

• Strong academic background (Honours, Master’s, or PhD) in a quantitative discipline
• (e.g. statistics, mathematics, data science, engineering, economics)
