• Define and drive the enterprise technology architecture strategy aligned with the organization’s business goals.
• Act as the primary technical authority across Group Technology.
• Guide decision-making on technology platforms, standards, and frameworks.
• Provide leadership on emerging technologies such as cloud, API ecosystems, and data platforms.
• Oversee the integration of systems and solutions across diverse technology environments.
• Ensure seamless interoperability between core banking systems, digital channels, and enterprise platforms.
• Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Establish and maintain architecture governance processes.
• Ensure all technology solutions meet security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Review and approve major technical designs and solution blueprints.
• Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and execution plans.
• Partner with business stakeholders to enable customer experience, innovation, and growth.
• Support digital transformation initiatives across the bank.
• Drive development of scalable, future-fit solutions.
• Promote reusability and standardization across platforms.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve system performance, and increase agility.
• Grow and mentor architects, engineers, and technical specialists.
• Build a strong technical community of practice within the organization.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Influence recruitment and development of high-calibre technical talent.
• Engage with executive leadership, business units, external vendors, and partners.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Represent Group Technology in strategic forums.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate technology risks impacting the bank.

• Proven senior technical leadership experience within banking, consulting, or financial services.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, technology standards, and governance.
• Strong expertise in emerging technologies like cloud computing, APIs, and data platforms.
• Strategic thinker with excellent decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in analytics, architecture, C programming, agile methodologies, and Dev Ops.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrable experience guiding large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience.
