Network Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

To design, implement, optimise, and support enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco technologies, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on-premises and hybrid environments.

• Relevant Degree / Diploma in IT, Networking, or Engineering

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Enterprise)
• Cisco Cyber Ops / Security certifications (advantageous)
• Cisco Forti Net network security – NT7

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
• AWS / Azure networking certifications
• ITIL Foundation (for service management alignment)

• 3–5 years in network engineer
• Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN environments
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco routing and switching

• 5–8 years’ experience in network engineering
• Proven experience in:
  • Firewall and VPN configuration
  • Incident management and RCA
  • Exposure to cloud and hybrid networking

• 8+ years’ experience in enterprise network environments
• Cisco enterprise and data centre technologies
• SD-WAN and hybrid cloud connectivity
• High availability and DR design
• Leading projects (e.g., DC migration, network redesign)
• Working with vendors and large-scale environments
