Database Administrator Fixed Term (Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months

Role Purpose

Design, Plan, Configure, Support, Secure and Maintain the availability, integrity and performance of the Bank's databases environment.

Manage all database changes in all environments.

Ensure that the database environments are adequately backed up and replicated to ensure limited impact in the event of a failures and to ensure that we can achieve the Disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.

• Microsoft SQL server
• SQL server in Azure
• ITIL (Change Management, Service Delivery, Service Level Agreements)

• National Diploma in Information Technology and / or BSC Degree in Information Technology
• Microsoft and / or other Database related Certifications

• Minimum 2 years in Database Administration
• Financial Services experience

• Quality of work delivered to both internal and external stakeholder.
• Level of satisfaction by customers (internal/external).
• Improve processes or solve problems with enhancements to current processes or create new solutions.

• Management of the Bank Database servers, storage, databases, and capacity
• Collaborate with project teams and deliver robust deployments aiming to move to High Availability
