The Storage SME will provide technical leadership and support for enterprise mainframe storage infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in storage management, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.

• Manage and support enterprise storage environments.
• Perform storage allocation, migration, and optimization activities.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Support storage-related projects and upgrades.
• Resolve complex storage incidents and problems.
• Develop storage standards and best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis for storage-related issues.
• Provide technical mentoring to junior team members.

• 5+ years in storage administration and support.
• Experience in large enterprise environments.

• SMS policy management.
• GDPS exposure.
• Storage replication technologies.
• Disaster recovery methodologies.
• Capacity planning and performance tuning.

• IBM DS8000 Storage.
• IBM zSeries storage architecture.
• Tape management systems.

• Storage automation.
• Performance analysis tools.
• Cloud and hybrid storage concepts.
• Broad knowledge of z/OS infrastructure.

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• IBM Storage certifications advantageous.
