About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their dynamic team, supporting operations from Sandton. This role is essential for identifying, analyzing, and understanding potential cyber threats targeting the organization. You will be responsible for gathering threat data from various sources, producing actionable intelligence reports, and advising on defensive measures to proactively protect the company's assets.

• Collect, analyze, and synthesize threat intelligence from various open-source and proprietary sources.
• Identify and track threat actors, their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and motivations.
• Develop and disseminate timely and actionable threat intelligence reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Integrate threat intelligence into security operations, incident response, and risk management processes.
• Maintain and develop tools and platforms for threat intelligence collection and analysis.
• Provide strategic insights into emerging threats and recommend defensive strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or a related security role.
• Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, attack vectors, and threat actor methodologies.
• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms, OSINT tools, and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
